Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring on the trip?

* All bait, tackle and fishing licenses are supplied by the charter

How many people can our charter take?
  • Coast Guard regulation allows a maximum of six people.

What happens to the fish we catch?

  • The fish are yours to keep. We do however, adhere to all rules and regulations (bag & size limits) set forth by National Marine Fisheries.

Can we get our fished cleaned?

  • Yes. There will be fish cleaning services available for a fee once we return to the dock.

What is a customary tip for the mate?

  • As a general rule of thumb, tip like you would in a restaurant - 15% to 20% of the charter price.

Will I get seasick?

  • If you are prone to motion sickness, this may be a valid concern. Several over the counter remedies are available and using one can sometimes make your trip much more enjoyable. We like "Bonine". Consult with your doctor.

Is it okay to bring children?

  • Yes. We are very child-friendly, but don't recommend that you bring infants, for their own comfort. Life jackets are always available and we can fit a child in one before he or she boards the boat, at your request.
