The Rock Fish season has really gotten off to a great start.
This year the water temperature didn't plunge in December as it has the last 2 years. The fish are right at Cape Henry and are a very nice class of fish.
We have been catching fish in the 25 to 38 lb range all season.
With the exception of December 29,2011 which was a very poor day for most and the Sea Witch (we didn't catch any and neither did a lot of boats); we have been catching limits. Hopefully without any major swings in the temperature the bait and fish will hang around a little longer.
